The ILUTIL [Standard] program, like its predecessors, is a Windows based application that will read an ARC IL format file and print an ARC type sales report. This report can be used prior to editing your ARC data in the ARC system and again after approving the sales report as a final copy of your sales report. This windows based application will replace the ILUTIL v1.0.3 application that was available on our website some time ago. Some of the new features of this ILUTIL [Standard] consists of:
Loading your data into the ILUTIL database is a simple process. (see Figure 1) In the Input File text box, either type in the location and name of the file you downloaded from ARC, or click on the Browse Button (indicated by a folder icon) to search for the file. Once you locate your file, simply click on the Load button and ILUTIL [Standard] will load your data into the database for use. The progress bar will indicate when this process is complete. After the utility has finished loading the data into the database, you have a variety of options available to you when using your data. You can either print your data to a printer, or export your data to either a Comma Delimited file (CSV) or an XML file. For further information on printing your data, see the topics Printing Options and Print Preview Window.

To export your data to either a Comma Delimited file or an XML file, first click the down arrow next to the Export button to toggle between the three options. The caption on the Export button will change to reflect the choice you made (either Export CSV, ALPHA CSV Export, or Export XML). Once you selected the option of your choice, click the Export button. A Save As dialog box will pop up asking you to enter a name for the file and a location to where you want to save the file to. Once you enter a name and specify a location where the file should be save to, click on the OK button and the ILUTIL [Standard] will export your data.
As of version 1.2.5, ILUTIL [Standard] has two different versions of comma-delimited export:
If you've exported your data into a XML file, to view the XML file you will need to use either Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or greater, or a third-party XML editor/viewer such as XML Spy.
